A few minutes later, we arrived at Pulau Singa Besar for eagle feeding. However, we were not allowed to disembark from the boat. So, we could just see the eagles being fed from the boat. But it was still a nice experience. There are A LOT of eagles here!
A few minutes here, and we continued our boat ride to Pulau Beras Basah.
The island is a nice small island with very clear water and white sand. There are activities like parachuting and jetskiing that can be done here, apart from swimming. There is also a small stall, selling drinks and instant food like the Maggi Mee. But warn you, the price is quite expensive.
When we arrived there, the first thing I did was to queue up at the small stall and buy some drinks and food. I bought a light Coke and a Maggi in Cup, because I was so damn hungry. Haha. It costs me around RM 7.00 for the Maggi and Coke, which is very expensive!
After I was done with the Maggi and Coke, I went for a swim. It was awesome and fun!
After I had finished swimming, whilst waiting to get back into the boat, I befriended Kak Mas, who blogs at mycikgumas.blogspot.com.
Soon, the boat arrived and we went back to the jetty. The van came and picked us up at the jetty and sent us back to Desa Motel, where we parked our car.
As we had already checked out from the MNR Motel, we need to find a new accommodation for us. We walked at the Pantai Cenang area, and finally, we got to stay at the AB Motel.
The motel costs us RM 80/night, but it is situated at Pantai Cenang area, very near to the main beach and the eateries and the condition of the motel is 100 times better than the MNR. Big bed, clean room and bathroom, mini bar in the room and it is not isolated.
There are a few backpackers hostels in Langkawi. If you want to socialize, motel is not the right place as most of the time, it is just you and yourself as there is no common area like in hostels.
That is why I don’t like to stay in motels. But, to stay in backpackers hostels, you need to book in advance as it is hard to get a place by walking in. That was why I had to stay in motels for this trip.
Upon checking in, we were on the road again.
