#TSBreakAway had ended 3 weeks ago. But it is not officially ended, yet. Right now, the judges are looking through the entries submitted by all 12 x-plorers, to decide who will get the Grand Prize and walk away with RM 10,000 richer. Apart from that, there is a CANON’s Photo-Storytelling Challenge, where the winner will walk away with RM 1,000 and a CANON 100D. Another category is the People’s Choice Award, where the public get to vote which x-plorers they like the most.

It has been an awesome experience for all of us, x-plorers, to join in this pilot project by the most active tourism board in Malaysia, Tourism Selangor. Without #TSBreakAway, I wouldn’t set foot on Pulau Ketam, I wouldn’t wander around Petaling Jaya on my own under the hot scorching sun, I wouldn’t know that I could paraglide, I wouldn’t have the chance to have a dinner with a Member of the State Legislative Assembly, YB Elizabeth Wong, who by the way loves to hike Bukit Gasing too, I wouldn’t have met an awesome bunch of people, some of them live as far as in Langkawi and Ipoh.

Although I have finished my 5 compulsory entries for the program, there are a lot more to that that I would like to share with everyone. There will be more entries on #TSBreakAway that I would write. Just wait for them. 🙂

In the meantime, do visit the official website of #TSBreakAway by clicking here and read the stories submitted by all the 12 of us. If you love what you read, don’t forget to vote by simply clicking Vote/<3 on the individual x-plorer’s page. Your vote will be counted for the People’s Choice Award.

And having said that, I would like to thank Tourism Selangor for organizing the event, all the crews [Zombies] who worked hard to make this pilot project a successful program, to Canon for loaning me a camera [which I really love because I only have a point-and-shoot camera], DPAC for the amazing last day [and for opening up the opportunity for me to volunteer this December], Empire Hotel Subang for the most comfortable 4 nights ever [I was staying alone in the hotel room for 4 nights, isn’t that amazing? ;)], Travelution Magazine and Fotografika.

Do note that although the program is over, we are still keeping in touch through Whatsapp Group and Facebook Group. See what the program had done to us? 😀

What an amazing program. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🙂
