Around the world, cities, more often than not, use old railway stations as their main train stations. Normally, old train stations have special characteristics which reflect the periods during which they were built. Most, if not all of such stations boast architectural designs conspicuously absent in modern buildings.
The Kuala Lumpur Railway Station is no exception. Previously used as the main train station of Kuala Lumpur, the expansion of railway networks in Kuala Lumpur has shifted the attention of inter-city travellers away from it to the new darling – KL Sentral.
