Top 30 Malaysian Travel Bloggers on Feedspot
An unexpected Award
Being a travel blogger, it is an honour when our hard works are being recognized. It does not matter whether we have a formal recognition or not. As long as there are readers appreciating our writings, it means a lot to people like us. Nonetheless, receiving a formal recognition is something beyond my expectation, so to say. That is why, I was shocked when I received an email from Feedspot telling me that Kaki Jalans is now in Top 30 Malaysian Travel Bloggers!
When I saw the list of Top 30 Malaysian Travel Bloggers on Feedspot, there are many familiar names. Most of them are big guns and to be listed together with them is something that is so unimaginable for a small time blogger like me. Still, I am sure that being in Top 30 means that I must work harder and write better travel posts. As Uncle Ben said in Spiderman “with great power comes great responsiblity“, the same can be applied here. With this award, comes greater responsibility for me to publish better articles.
The Future of Kaki Jalans
At the moment, I am halting my travel plans for personal reasons. I was supposed to go to Perth, Australia on the 1st of March until 9th of March 2018, covering Perth up to Kalbarri National Park. It was supposed to be an unforgettable road trip for Amira and I. Nevertheless, God has greater plans, so at the moment, I will have to write on the pending posts that I have long planned to write.
Receiving the Top 30 Malaysian Travel Bloggers award after winning the Malaysia Website Awards 2017 is a dream comes true. Hopefully, I will keep on writing and writing and encourage other people to travel, no matter where you are, no matter where to. As long as you go out there and experience the world that God has created for us. Travelling will lift you up – emotionally and spiritually.
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear?… – Al-Quran, Surah Al-Haj 22: 46
Kaki Jalans would like to thank Feedspot for the recognition given.
