Covid-19 is declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Everyday, Covid-19 cases keep increasing around the world and Malaysia is also not spared from the virus. Some countries are under lockdown for Covid-19

So, since we are all encouraged to stay at home at not to go outside, plus no travelling is possible at the moment, here are some ideas on things to do:

Read books if you are under lockdown for Covid-19

Sometimes, when we are travelling, we are too busy exploring a particular place. More often than not, we bring books but we do not read them. Since we are stuck at home, maybe this is the time to go to the bookshelf at our home and start reading again. It is a good idea to read since lockdown can be stressful at times.

Netflixing and Chill

This is another activity that you can do either with your family or on your own. Since Netflix library is huge, this is the time to start your binge-watching activity at home. Believe it or not, in four days of Malaysia’s Movement Control Order, we have finished watching two seasons of Kingdom and just finished watching the whole season of Caliphate.

Spend more time with your kids during lockdown for Covid-19

Yes, this is the time to spend more time with your kids, especially when all of you are under lockdown for Covid-19. For instance, Khai’s work requires him to travel all over Malaysia a lot. So, this is the best time for him to reconnect with our daughter. He watches cartoons with her, plays with her, teaches her, gives her coloured pens to write and a lot of other fun activities!

Time to try that recipe that your heard of

Normally, when we are travelling, we will try many restaurants out there to eat or to try the local food. At times, we will search the recipe for the food online. Well, what other ways to spend your lockdown for Covid-19 than to try that recipe that you have always plan to cook. Try to cook that Pad Thai or the Viatnamese spring roll. As for us, we have tried cooking the Thai Muslim yellow rice. It was so tasty!
