Museums are not everyone’s cup of tea. Many people equals museum as a boring place to go. However, there is an educational and fun museum in Kuala Lumpur worth visiting

When you talk about museums, the idea of visiting them is frowned upon by some people. This is due to the fact that for some, museums are one of the boring places to visit. However, the Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur seeks to change this perception. Museums can be educational and fun too! That is why when we visited the Museum of Illusions, we decided to write about it and share with others. It is truly an educational and fun museum in Kuala Lumpur!

Where is Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur?
Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur is situated in Bukit Bintang. It is located on the 1st floor of Ansa Hotel Kuala Lumpur, just beside the Lot 10 shopping mall. If you are driving here, you can park either at Lot 10 or at Fahrenheit 88. Otherwise, you can also take the MRT Kajang Line or the KL Monorail to Bukit Bintang station.

What are the exhibitions in the Museum of Illusions?
Previously, we have visited the Trick Art Museum in i-City, Shah Alam. However, most 3D museums only exhibit paintings where visitors have to use their own creativity in order to make the paintings seem real. It is different with Museum of Illusions though. Here, apart from the optical illusions that will blow your mind away, they also provide explanations to each exhibit displayed.

As such, visitors will not be kept puzzled as to why certain illusions happened. Every illusions displayed have its own description. What’s more amazing is that this is an educational and fun museum in Kuala Lumpur! As such, there are certain areas where visitors can sit and explore by themselves and also to be entertained with illusions’ games available.

The staff is also friendly and they will help you to take photos as well as to explain further about the exhibitions available.
Some of the Exhibitions Displayed
Some of the exhibitions or rather illusions on display are:
- Head on the plate;
- 2 bodies in one mirror;
- Spinning bridge (our personal favourite!);
- Anti gravity room;
- Giant and dwarf room;
- And many others!
